AV Integration and AV consultancy

AV Integration is the bringing together of component audiovisual devices and subsystems into one system and ensuring that the devices and subsystems function together as a whole. Meeting Spaces including Installations and Solutions for Boardrooms, Meeting Rooms and Training Rooms

Today, with laptops everywhere, knowledge workers should not be expected to make special arrangements for audio visual equipment in a meeting room. Ideally every meeting room should have equipment installed, adjusted and ready to go. Small items that can wander, such as remotes or special cables, need to be eliminated or tied down. Operation of audio visual equipment must be literally foolproof.

East Coast Audio Visual provides audiovisual consultancy services at every stage of construction projects for new buildings and refurbishments.

East Coast AV consultants can review plans and drawings, and comment on audiovisual issues or we can go further and provide indicative or detailed assessments of AV equipment and AV contractor labour required and costs for determining AV budget.

We can provide input to joinery & electrical design as well as advice on wall and ceiling reinforcement. Furthermore we can provide an AV architecture which may be implemented progressively as funds become available, but still meets essential needs on day one of occupancy. In addition we can audit your existing AV gear and help you decide what to keep or replace.

Our AV consultants have experience working with and around the main contractor, and our AV integrators are used to working with and around other trades.

Audio Visual Technology Solutions

Projector Installations

Installation of a video or data projector demands an unobtrusive projector mount, and discreet cabling (preferably concealed) and neat wall plates. Where a projector lift is required it must be smoothly engineered into the ceiling. The projector screen must be carefully chosen and mounted, especially a motorised projector screen.

Plasma and LCD TV Installations

Similarly, installations of an LCD TV or an LCD display or screen demands the same discreet cabling and neat wall plates. Where a Plasma or LCD lift is required it must be smoothly engineered into the ceiling or cabinetry. Any Plasma or LCD wall mount must be carefully chosen and installed.

Audio Visual Control Systems Installations

Installation of an audio visual control system, such as a Command Systems Joey and Joey Micro, RTI and the Crestron range of control panels and integration products requires audio visual integration skills and workmanship which we provide.

Interactive Whiteboard Installations

We install interactive whiteboards from all the major brands including Promethean ActivBoard, Smartboard, Teamboard, Starboard and Mimio products, and integrate them back to the data projector, PC and other AV equipment.

Electronic Whiteboard Installations

The electronic whiteboard is still a major audio visual technology which we install and support. A wall mount electronic whiteboard still requires careful attention to placement and finish.

Projector Maintenance and Support for other AV Equipment

Last but by no means least, after an audio visual installation, we provide maintenance and support for data projectors and all other audio visual equipment for as many years as required.
